In September of 2019, a few actresses made a visit to Rockford, Illinois to honor a legacy.
Whether you’re baseball fan or not, it is most likely that you’ve heard of the movie ‘A League of Their Own.’ Directed by Penny Marshall, it starred Tom Hanks, Madonna, Rosie O’Donnell and Geena Davis. The film is about the Rockford Peaches of the AAGPBL and has been induced into the United States National Film Registry.
