One of the world’s largest planes, the Antonov AN-124, made its way to Rockford, Illinois recently. The humongous aircraft landed on Tuesday, May 5th 2026, and took of the next day on Wednesday, May 6th. Spectators, plane lovers, and photographers lined the streets surrounding Chicago Rockford International Airport to get a glimpse of the flying giant. For some, this may have been a once in a lifetime chance to see such a unique airplane.
